Autumn update

Autumn has been busy here in Boyle and we have been out on the water a lot. The fishing has been reasonably good with some nice pike being caught by our guests. The biggest so far this year was a nice pike measuring 117cm, caught by Austrian angler Robert Slamezka in October. Other fish over the meter were also caught including one of 115cm

Big pike for Oz Angler

This Beautiful pike measuring 102cm was caught yesterday by Guy Collinson from Australia. Guy who is here on a Holiday was out fishing with Angling Services Ireland Guide Brendan, who also happens to be Guy’s girlfriends brother! Nice catch Guy!!! (the pike is nice too!)

Despite the unsuitably hot weather our visitors from Italy caught some more big pike during their four day stay in Boyle, including this 104cm pike caught by group member Andrea. There were also a few more double figure pike that graced our boats.
